Shopify product descriptions are very important to shoppers and to Google. Long copy helps both your customers' interest and your Google Page Ranking. Customers may not read everything you say, but good copy will make them more likely to complete a sale. Google reads every word you write and will reward your product with better page rank. With so many sellers of the same book, its best to be ranked on the first page.
At a minimum, you should have 300 words and 1000 words will be great.
Also consider adding a short video to your description which demonstrates the pop ups and the other hidden activities. A live video demo would be best especially if you can capture some expression of wonderment by a amused or amazed kid.
