Azure Virtual Machines are one of the main resources used in the cloud. Azure Virtual Machines can be used for many things like webservers and databases. Virtual Machines can run either Linux or Windows operating systems.

In this tutorial we'll go over creating and explaining how a Linux Virtual Machine works along with attaching a virtual network, subnet, security group, public ip and storage. We'll also talk about images, pricing, sizes, disk encryption, cloud init, vm extensions, networking and ssh into the machine once everything is up an running.
