This is the second part of a series I did on my very first steps into Russia, and unlike most people who typically spend these moments in a major city like Moscow or St. Petersburg, I got the honor to spend it with a family in a smaller city about 5 hours from the nation's capital to see a more real part of the Russian experience during the New Year's season.
In this video I got to spend an evening walking around historic Ryazan and the Kremlin during fireworks and under Christmas lights, I got to ice skate on flooded football fields and cross country ski in buffalo filled forests, and even eat in a soviet themed restaurant!
