In this video I show you how to speed up your workflow in Sketchup by creating proxy files. Proxy files are low resolution replicas of an original model which speed up view ports by reducing the amount of geometry in your model. Its a great way to reduce those annoying lag and stutters when working. I used V-ray next for this tutorial but it works the same way with V-ray 3 for sketchup and above.
