In this JavaFX GUI tutorial for Beginners we will learn how to use the ActionListener Interface. ActionListener is an Interface that allows you to listen for nd receive Java Swing ActionEvents

An ActionEvent indicates that a component-defined action has occurred. eg. A button has been pressed.

Any Object that implements the ActionListener Interface, and is subsequently registered with a source component, will be notified whenever an ActionEvent occurs.
