In today's video, we look at Russian propaganda that involves young civilians.
The propaganda machine in Russia uses many tools to spread its message about the war in Ukraine and one of them is creating narratives using personal stories of young people and their families.

The militarisation of children in schools has increased since the Ukraine war began.
Indoctrination on every level is a common practice in Russian society and Russian youth are used to foster propaganda narratives to support the war. We also talk about a youth organisation called "The Movement of the First".

Our expert looks at excerpts from a popular Russian series created by Russian public television that focuses on exploiting stories of children and their families to boost their support for Russia's involvement in the war in Ukraine.
