Prevent data loss with RAID. RAID stands for either Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks or Independent Array of Individual Disks. With a redundant disk setup, your server can keep going without data loss or downtime if a drive fails. You can use RAID with Linux, Windows, or macOS.
NOTE: I slightly misspoke at the end of the video when I said that you can't install an operating system with software RAID. You actually can, as long as the operating system installer supports it. (More on that in the next video.)
