This is truly a family-friendly community. Allen's Mill is connected to the newly constructed Mt. Hebron Park, which accommodates tennis, basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer. The park also features Arkansas' largest handicap-accessible destination playground, pavilions, and a splash pad that doubles as an ice rink for year-round enjoyment.

The City of Cave Springs is known more for its recreational opportunities than for its role in agriculture or industry. It is often the first community seen by visitors to Arkansas who arrive at the Northwest Arkansas National Airport. It has experienced almost 200% growth in recent years with more to come. The median age is 35 and was recently voted as the #1 place in America to buy a home.
Known for its two caves and the water source that emits 6 million gallons of water per day, and flows year-round at a constant temperature of 54 degrees.
Soon after the Kansas City and Memphis Railroad built a line through the area a new post office, bank, hotel, barbership blacksmith shop, and other stores quickly followed. Apples were the main crop at that time but did not survive the great depression. After which poultry and livestock became the principal agriculture.
A dam built for a gristmill created a body of water now known as Lake Keith which has been home to a trout hatchery, swimming, a skating rink, and a restaurant. Lake Keith is now home to the Illinois River Watershed Partnership, a nonprofit organization that teaches Arkansans about the erosion of our NWA waterways.
During the 1950's the city laid pipes from the cave to provide water to its residents.
This small city has 4 churches. The First Baptist Church was founded in 1880. The first schoolhouse was a log cabin called "Stick in the Mud"
Cave Springs has also been filmed, the 1951 movie: Wonder Valley and the Civil War miniseries The Blue and the Gray in 1981.
