Intro:
Hi Everyone, In this Video I'm Show you how to remove background using Quick Mask in Gimp.

Steps:
First You Need to toggle Quick Mask ON by pressing Shift+Q on your Keyboard. Then Select Eraser Tool and erase the region that you need to extract from the Background. After Finished Erasing Turn OFF the Quick Mask by pressing Shift+Q.

Now Invert the Selection by Pressing Ctrl+I and Del to Erase the Background.

Conclusion:
I am not going to recommend this type of selection and background removal. The best way is using the path tool. I already posted the video tutorial on our Channel. So go and check it out.

Gimp is the perfect Alternative for Photoshop. You can also use this same method in Photoshop as well.
