CREATIVE LONG EXPOSURE PHOTOGRAPHY HACK!!
In this video, we're getting creative and I'm sharing a long exposure photography hack that will guarantee you to instantly improve your night photography and street photography skills - and hey, who doesn't love a good photo hack!!
Long exposureI photography allows you to create stunning images that you will not be able to see with your own eye until after the photo is taken - and that's the beauty of it! There are two simple ways to take a long exposure photo at night, and I cover both methods in this vide; How to take a lng exposure photo (traditional method), as well as my new favourite long exposure photography hack!!
Get creative with this trick whenever you're out doing street photography, long exposure photography or even just creative photography and having fun!
This video was shot on the Sony A7C and the Sigma 12-24mm f/2.8, with features and clips from the Nikon D5300 with 35mm f/1.8 and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. I filmed this video on Baggot Street in Dublin, Ireland. The reasons why I chose this location were;
1. There were nice red brick buildings on the opposite side of the road.
2. There were shiny, metal, reflective street poles and bike stands that would reflect light from different directions, adding to the night photography and moody photography feel.
3. There was a neon sign that filled up the empty space in the right side of the photo, meanwhile simultaneously adding backlighting to the subject.
4. It was beside a busy road so I had multiple opportunities to grab the long exposure shot I was looking for!
