The configuration file tells protractor:
1. How to set up the Selenium server.
2. Which tests to run.
3. How to set up the browsers.
4. Which frameworks to use.
5. It can also include one or more Global Settings.
Protractor tests execution starts from configuration file. Can set different properties like nodes and hubs when want to execute the scripts using grid.
Usually name of the configuration file is conf.js. But this is not mandatory to put this name. We can use what name we want.
