Online Electronics Shopping Website Project in ASP.Net description:-
This project covers aspects of Online Electronics Shopping. This project is made in ASP.Net with C#.Net and the database is in Microsoft SQL Server. It is a totally dynamic project. There are 2 modules in this project i.e. Admin Module and User Module. The following are the facilities available in the admin module:-
1. Add Category, Sub Category, Brand & Product:- These are 4 different pages in the admin panel through which the admin can Add New categories, Subcategories, Brands, and Products by filling in various information. There is also a facility to upload pictures of all these. As this is a totally dynamic site, information added here will be stored in the database and will be automatically visible to users.
2. Update / Delete Category, Sub Category, Brand, Product - Using these pages admin can update and delete already information on Category, Sub Category, etc.
3. View Orders:- Using this page, the admin can view a list of orders placed by users. Admin can also view products ordered in the order by clicking on the order number. Admin can also update the status of the order.
4. View Messages and Feedback:- Using these 2 pages, the admin can view messages and feedback sent by users using the contact us and feedback page
User Module:-
1. Signup:- The user can create an account on the website using this page by filling in various fields. Users' Email IDs will be used as a username on the site.
2. Login:- User can log in by filling username and password given at the time of signup. If the username and password are correct users will be redirected to a new page where users can buy various products on the website.
After logging into the website, users will see various categories of products. Users can choose any category by clicking on its image or name. Once clicked on the category user will see different subcategories of the products. Once clicked on a subcategory user will see different products available under that subcategory. Once clicked on the product name or image user will see details of the product like its name, rate, the discount given, brand, category, subcategory, etc. If the user wants to buy that product, then users can click on add to cart button to add that product to their cart. Users can add any number of products they like to their cart. One can also delete products from the cart. After adding all products to the cart user can click on checkout and users will see various payment options like COD and Card payment. After clicking on the payment method and the user will have to fill shipping address. After finishing the payment process user will get the order number.
Search Page:- User can search for a product by entering the product name. If any matching products are available then they will be shown to the user. Users can click on the product name or its image to see its details.
Contact Us:- Using this page users can send messages to the owner of the website.
Feedback Page:- Using this page users can send feedback about websites or services.
Order History:- On this page user will see all the orders placed. Users will also see the order status and products ordered in that order.
Change Password:- Using this page users can change their login password. The change Password link will only be visible once users will log in to the website
