CSAB 2020 - Central Seat Allocation Board is conducting the counselling for admission in the supernumerary seats in NITs for Union Territories, and in some AICTE approved Institutes for North East and Union Territories (NEUT) on the basis of JEE Main score. CSAB 2020 Special Round will start from November 17 after the completion of JoSAA counselling. CSAB NEUT 2020 online registration was open till November 4. The last date of CSAB NEUT choice filling is November 6. MHRD has announced relaxation in admission criteria for admission to JEE Main this year due to covid-19 pandemic. As per the new criteria, candidates having qualified JEE Main and passed class 12, irrespective of any percentage (in class 12) will be considered for admission. The registration process for the different channels of CSAB 2020 will open separately in online mode. The candidates will have to complete the registration procedure to participate in the allotment process. Choice filling according to preference also has to be done. The authorities will allot the registered candidates as per their JEE Main merit, preferences and availability of seat. CSAB Special Round 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The terms and conditions which the candidates will have to satisfy for admissions will be present in the eligibility criteria of CSAB 2020 special round. To participate in the special round of CSAB 2020, the candidates will have to meet the following eligibility criteria.
Candidates should have a valid JEE Main 2020 rank.
The eligibility criteria of JoSAA 2020 has to be met by the candidates.
Those candidates who participate in JoSAA 2020 but failed to get allotted will be eligible for CSAB special round 2020.
Candidates who were allotted through JoSAA 2020 but failed to confirm their admission or withdrew from their seats will also be eligible for CSAB 2020 special round.
It should be noted that those candidates who opted not to participate in the special round after JoSAA will not be eligible for CSAB 2020 special round admission procedure.
