Uni life can be a bit of a rollercoaster, some weeks are awesome and others, well less so! Last week was a great one for me, 2 conferences, PhD students presenting, winning a research grant... but not every week is like this. Sometimes lectures go wrong, editors dislike papers and grant applications fail. One of my colleagues said there are dizzying highs and crushing lows, so how do we deal with them?
