Fixing a Slot Machine from the 90's! Bally's MPU Board - Dead Battery
Since I was going to fix this slot machine anyhow, thought I'd make a video showing the process. Pretty straight forward actually - just dead battery on the MPU board, so could just as easily swap that out... which I did a few years back, but now that I got the board on my bench, decided to give it a little upgrade. Since this machine only gets used every once and a while, I went ahead and made the battery rechargeable. That should keep it going just as long as they power it up at least every couple months to recharge the battery. Well let's hope anyway.
