steam_api64.dll not found | GTA V Error Solved #3 🔥| Latest 2023
At 0:07 in the video there is a mistake in the 2nd Line of the Note instead of "then" that will be "them". Sorry for the mistake :(
Hey guys, welcome back to a brand new video.
In this video we are going to solve an error which occurs when one of the GTA 5 game directory file is not found and that file is none other than steam_api64.dll

The steps are as follows:
1) Download the zip file from the link given above.
2) Open the file and copy the steam_api64.dll
3) Now go to the location where GTA V is installed in my case the path was D:\Mayank Imp\GTA V your path may vary.
4) Paste the copied file into the game directory.
Now enjoy and play hard :)

The answer to this question is your antivirus or windows defender. It is the antivirus who is creating the problem for you it assumes steam_api64.dll file as virus, so it automatically removes it.
This means this problem can occur again. The answer is NO! NO! NO!!
You can set exclusions in anti-viruses and windows defender for this particular file. This means the excluded file will not be removed from the system.
