This is a quick demo of an isometric game I'm making. I show both the normal gameplay mode as well as a map editing mode.
I'm not sure what type of game I'll use this for yet. It could be a sim game, an adventure game, or a tactics style game. I'd likely due the simplest thing to reduce scope, and that would either be a simple sim or very simple adventure game.
This is all built in C++ and SDL2 which are both new to me. It's been adventure learning both, but well worth it. I'm doing this as opposed to using Unity which as been my traditional go-to.
