On this episode of Premier Prep we start the multi part series on becoming familiar with Blender as a visual effects compositor and not just a CGI tool. As the first part we need to start with the absolute fundamentals, what is Node Based Compositing and how do you start doing it in Blender?

BLENDER NODE COMPOSITOR KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS:
-Shift+A = Node Menu
-T = Side Node Menu
-Shift+D = Duplicate
-Control+Shift+Left Click on node = Viewer Node
-X = Delete
-Control+X = Delete and Re-link
-Middle Mouse Button = Move Around
-And the scroll wheel let's you zoom in and out
-G = Grab
-Control+Z = Undo
-Control+Y = Redo
-Control+S = Save
-Function 12 = Render Current Frame
-Function 3 = Save Rendered Frame
-Shift+Space Bar = Full-screen Window
