User Tagging & Single Action-Multi Create Documents - FlutterFlow Custom Widget
In this custom code tutorial, I go over a small custom widget project I've been working on that enables you to implement a text input field and button into your project, where users tagged in the field with the @ sign are extracted from the text input and added to a tagged users list within the created 'posts' document. The entire text from the input is added to a content field within the 'posts' document, and a function is initiated to loop the tagged users from the newly created post document, where a notification document is created for each tagged user with a reference ID to the newly created post document. This custom widget is a work in progress and still under development, but you are welcome to view, download and use the code as is, if you want to play around with its settings in your project and see how it works. It's important you have a basic understanding of coding to be able to modify the collections and reference fields to fit your project.
