I install the Linux kernel, grub. Before booting into the LFS operating system for the first time, I install openssh server, wget, lynx command line web browser. It takes me several tries until I can boot correctly. I connect to the new Virtual Machine (VM) that runs LFS using ssh. I install again the root Certificate Authorities HTTPS certificates. I install Midnight Commander (mc) and emacs-nox.
