Stop highlighting colour manually
If you want to highlight colour based on the status then do below.
Select the Data
Go to Home Tab - styles - conditional formatting - click on Drop-down - select new rule - select option use a formula to determine which cell to format
Then select first cell status from the range
Then remove $ sign before row no
Then enter this formula
$J3="Not Started"
Then click on format and do required cell formatting like background color, font etc
Once it is done click on ok
For second condition repeat same thing
Select the Data
Go to Home Tab - styles - conditional formatting - click on Drop-down - select new rule - select option use a formula to determine which cell to format
Then select first cell status from the range
Then remove $ sign before row no
Then enter this formula
$J3="In Progress"
Then click on format and do required cell formatting like background color, font etc
Once it is done click on ok
For third condition repeat same thing
Select the Data
Go to Home Tab - styles - conditional formatting - click on Drop-down - select new rule - select option use a formula to determine which cell to format
Then select first cell status from the range
Then remove $ sign before row no
Then enter this formula
$J3="Closed"
Then click on format and do required cell formatting like background color, font etc
Once it is done click on ok
Now this will be dynamic colour change, if you change status then colour highlights will also get changed.
