I compared logos from a top rated graphic designer with AI
Would you expect AI graphic designers to be as good or better than human designers? Given that AI is based on designs created by us, surely it cant create better designs.
A few years ago I got a logo designed professionally. I thought it'd be cool to see what Ai would do if given the same instructions.
Generally, I believe that the future is indeed AI generated art but I think the creativity will not be lost forever. We have had tools like Photoshop for ages but this didn't all of a sudden make everyone a good designer. The people that did well are the ones that learned everything there was to learn about Photoshop. They charge for people to use their services.
Generative art is unlikely to be different to this, in my view. The good graphic designers will leverage AI to take their designs to the next level. The poorer designers may struggle, because generic designs will be easy for people to produce.
