Removing Reels from the Instagram Post Tab or profile grid is a feature that allows you to hide your Reels from appearing alongside your regular photo and video posts on your main profile page.
When you create a Reel, it is usually added to both the Reels tab and the Post Tab by default. If you want to keep your Reels separate or just want them to be visible in the Reels tab, you can remove them from the Post Tab.
By removing them from the Post Tab, you can keep your Reels content separate and easy to find in the dedicated Reels tab.
🔶STEPS🔶
To remove Reels from the Instagram post tab or profile grid,
1. Open the Instagram app on your mobile device.
2. Tap on your profile picture in the bottom right corner.
3. Scroll through your profile and tap on the Reel to open it.
4. Tap on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen.
5. Find and tap "Remove from Profile Grid" from the popup menu.
6. Now, tap on "Remove" to confirm.
Now, your Reel video will be hidden from the post tab and will only be visible in the Reels tab.
You can repeat this process for each video you want to hide.
If you want to hide a new Reel video from the post tab before posting, you can do this on the settings screen before sharing the Reel video.
7. Below the caption section, tap on the "Profile Display" option.
8. Select "Reels Grid Only."
By following these simple steps, you can easily remove a Reel from the main post tab on your Instagram profile without losing the content.
