Have you ever wondered how the US Army's Air Defense Battle Management System Operator (14G), and Air and Missile Defense Crew Member (14S) work together to keep us safe? As a 14G, Soldiers are responsible for operating and maintaining the Army's tactical command and control systems, such as the Sentinel Aerial Surveillance Radar, which provides real-time situational awareness and situational understanding of the battlefield. Meanwhile, the 14S is responsible for engaging hostile targets using air and missile defense systems, including the short-range Avenger air defense system.
