Zooming around in your nimble submersible or plunging into the vast blue, you’re juggling pipe repairs, squeezing through tight underwater oil rigs and fiddling with generator switches to keep the show on the road. But here’s the kicker: Stan’s got a moral dilemma brewing as he works for the oil behemoth UniTrench, which seems to care about marine life as much as a cat cares about a goldfish. As he sinks deeper into solitude, hallucinations start crashing the party, and his phone chats with his wife and boss become a cringeworthy comedy of errors. The game has a "Detroit" vibe, and while it’s not perfect, it’s got a certain charm. If only you could snag all those shiny items littering the ocean floor, the exploration would be a blast! Under the Waves is a 2023 adventure gem from Parallel Studio and Quantic Dream, where you dive deep into ethical dilemmas while battling personal demons. Fun fact: In my research on the game, i had said beforehand that it reminds me of "Detroit" just to find out both were developed by Quantam Dream.
