In this video we will learn how to revert TP-LINK WR-841N V9 to factory original firmware no matter OpenWrt or DD-WRT you are running
First step, please download stock firmware from TP-LINK official site
Extract the file to some folder and rename it to wr841nv9_tp_recovery.bin
Now change your LAN's IP Address to 192.168.0.66
Lauch TFTP server and Browse the firmware folder, you can Show Dir to make sure the firmware is there
Make sure the router is connected to PC using LAN port, hold reset button and power it up, keep holding the reset button for few seconds
We can see the router got IP address of 192.168.0.68 and downloading firmware from TFTP server
After downloading, wait for a few miniutes for it to flash and restart.
Now we can access the original TP-LINK firmware
Here is how I hold the reset button and power up my router
Firmware is downloading from my laptop
And the router is rebooting
