Its official: as of March 22 2019, Shopify is no longer offering Mailchimp Integration, through a native MailChimp app. The reason for this breakup is due to different views on privacy and who owns what data. Here are the two sides of the store, so you can decide.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to use zapier to connect MailChimp to Shopify without using the native app. I will also go how to install shopsync as a free alternative to the mailchimp app.
