Here's a quick comparison between the old and new Atomos Shinobi monitors. The new version is thinner, brighter, and has an improved cable position, which is a nice touch. However, I have mixed feelings about it. While the new design has its perks, I'd probably be more satisfied if my Canon C70 were compatible. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any compatibility info online, so testing it out was the only way to find out—leading to some disappointment. And despite the upgrades, the build quality still feels a bit... cheap. Watch as I break down these points and share my honest thoughts on whether the new Shinobi is worth the upgrade.
