Metro system is a backbone of Sofia public transport system. Sofia Metro consists of 4 lines, at the time when video was filmed, there were only lines M1 and M2. The rolling stock seen on the video consists of 81-717 (81-714) and 81-741 (81-740) type trains. Trains are getting the electricity from third rail, while trains of Sofia Metro line M3 (opened in 2020) use catenary.
