Additive Manufacturing DMLS Technology
DMLS technology involves using a laser to selectively melt and solidify layers of metal powder, creating complex geometries that would be difficult or impossible to manufacture through traditional machining methods. The process starts with a 3D computer-aided design (CAD) model, which is sliced into thin layers and loaded into the DMLS machine. Metal powder is then spread evenly over the build platform, and the laser begins to selectively melt and fuse the powder according to the design specifications. After each layer is complete, the build platform is lowered, and a new layer of powder is spread over the previous layer. This process is repeated until the final product is complete.
