During the morning rush hour in Los Angeles, a subway train comes to a screeching halt as the tunnel partially collapses, throwing passengers into chaos. Dozens of people are trapped inside the car, including Jason, a young subway engineer; Emily, a doctor; Sam, a war veteran; and a mysterious man with a briefcase. Escape seems impossible, as debris blocks all exits. Jason, using his expertise, begins investigating the cause of the accident and uncovers something alarming—traces of explosives, suggesting a deliberate act of sabotage.
As the group struggles to organize a rescue, their predicament worsens. The collapse has disrupted a nearby reservoir, causing water to seep into the tunnel. Tensions rise when Jason suspects that the man with the briefcase, James, holds critical information about the attack. However, James is reluctant to share his secrets, and mistrust brews among the passengers. With the water level rising and time running out, survival becomes a race against the clock.
With no other options, the survivors are forced to work together. Sam leads an evacuation through an emergency hatch, while Jason and James devise a way to send a warning to authorities, revealing a larger threat: a series of planned explosions that could destroy the entire subway system. In the end, the passengers manage to escape and alert the city, but each of them is forever changed by the harrowing ordeal and their shared fight for survival.
