Auto reboot OpenWrt router every day to increase stability
I want to reboot my OpenWrt router at 5.30 am everyday to refresh the router
Click System - Scheduled Tasks and enter following command to put in cron
30 5 * * * sleep 70 && touch /etc/banner && reboot
To avoid infinite reboot loop, we need to wait a minute before rebooting, and we have to touch a file in /etc so clock will be set properly
Now reboot your router then it will automatically reboot every day at 5.30 am
