If you are attempting to use Da Vinci Resolve (free) or Da Vinci Resolve Studio (paid) on a Linux distro like Ubuntu, then you may have discovered that native support for the clips depends upon video and audio codec support (it does also on Windows and Mac but the support is a bit wider).
