Character Growth & Progression | Cyberpunk Sitdown
Cyberpunk Red is the latest version of the Cyberpunk Tabletop game that inspired Cyberpunk 2077. It is shown here with the help of TaleSpire. I use the Cutscene Mode in this video, just to have a little fun.
Progressing in a Skill-Based System is very different compared to what I'm used to. I came from D&D, and I still refer back to it when explaining things in Red for good reason. But having this much freedom is intimidating at first, and explaining how you actually grow in the game has confused my own players. They were so used to having to meet milestones or check boxes to get any kind of progression.
The next video will mark me showing off how a build works in Red, so I felt it would be good to talk about how to actually level before saying "Level up to this" in another video.
