I'm a dev with ~10 years of professional experience and I've worked with React for more than 5 years iirc. I'm building an application as I would in a real team based on tasks and designs. The app has desktop and mobile designs. It will be covered with tests and documented with Storybook. I also use a professional Git workflow called Trunk-Based Development.
Last time I created a small UI component with Storybook. Off-screen I also added another component. Now I have two branches that depend on each other. While merging the PRs I’ll use interactive rebasing to clean up the commits. Once I’m done with that I’ll build the first element for the “Project List” page again with Storybook.
This app will be part of my upcoming React Job Simulator where you'll be able to continue working on this app as if it was your first job as a React dev. You can find a waitlist here: https://profy.dev/waitlist
My plan is to make this an (almost) daily thing until the app is done. The usual time is around 9 or 9:30 am CEST.
