ISO is the last element of the triangle of exposure and it means how fast the sensor is recording the image during the exposure. This is not the same with shutter speed, which mean how fast the camera is open. there are 2 different concepts, they both involve time, but have different roles in exposure. I saw few videos explaining that is incorrect as we are talking about digital and not film, but regardless the technicality of it, the camera sensitivity should be understood the same
