Follow the steps below to disable restricted mode on YouTube in the desktop browser:
1. Open YouTube in the browser on your PC, Mac, or Chromebook and login.
2. Select your profile picture in the top right of YouTube.
3. In the new menu that appears go to the bottom and select Restricted Mode.
4. In the new Restricted Mode menu, toggle off the switch to disable YouTube restricted mode.
Follow the steps below to disable restricted mode on YouTube on a mobile phone or tablet:
1. Open the YouTube app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android.
2. Open the YouTube menu by selecting your profile picture in the top right of the app.
3. In the menu scroll down and select Settings.
4. In the settings find Restricted Mode and turn off the toggle switch. You can now close the settings and enjoy YouTube.
