Harmony Using Primary Chords - Music Composition
In this music theory lesson we look at three melodies, each capable of being harmonised using only primary chords. The video shows how to treat the melody notes as chord tones or as non-chord tones, and how to find primary chords to fit. The chords are presented in both lead sheet style and in Roman Numerals. We then move on to think about how to present the chords in keyboard style. This video will be useful to players and composers alike.
