David Mitchell is vice president of engineering at Datadog, overseeing the company’s Infrastructure Monitoring and Log Management products. Prior to joining Datadog, David served as the chief technology office of Intersection, a Sidewalk Labs funded smart cities company. In this capacity, he oversaw the development and operations of civic-focused IoT solutions for cities in London, Los Angeles, and New York to name a few. Previously, David served in a variety of technology leadership positions at startups ranging from edtech (Amplify), fintech (Betterment), as well as travel companies, such as Sabre Corporation and Travelocity.
