This new REAPER 7 feature allows parallel fx within the fx chain.
Just right-click any fx and choose "Run selected FX in parallel with previous FX". Meaning this fx now gets inputs from before the previous fx. This can completely change the sound and opens some creative possibilities without having to send to additional tracks.
