In this video, we will learn how to convert an active to passive voice in case of an imperative sentence.
What is an imperative sentence.
An imperative sentence is used to give the command or advice or request.
In case of imperative sentences having command,
the structure of the active voice is v1 + O.
Converting it to passive voice, the structure becomes: Let + O + be + v3
In case of imperative sentences having advice,
the structure of the active voice is v1 + O.
Converting it to passive voice, the structure becomes: S + should be + v3
In case of imperative sentences having request,
the structure of active voice is: please/kindly + v1 + O
Converting it to passive voice, the structure becomes: You are requested to + v1 + O
