UDOT Snow Plow Season 2023/2024
And that’s a wrap on Winter Season 2023/2024 (for most of the state). ❄️
While spring is unpredictable in Utah, and our mountain crews are still busy plowing and clearing seasonal roads, we wanted to share some highlights from this season with you.
Since September, our crews have plowed 1.2 million miles and clocked 68,315 hours. 🤯 Or in other words, they plowed the equivalent of Earth’s equator 48 times.
Huge shoutout to our snowplow operators and incident management specialists who got up early, stayed up late, and braved all kinds of weather to make Utah safer for everyone else.
And here’s to you for being our shotgun rider through it all.
