Aspire EP 2nd Test Flight
I finally got around to getting out my Aspire EP sailplane that I picked up second-hand at a swap meet about 8 or so years ago. I converted it from a brushed to brushless motor and took it out for a test. The first time it flew but I botched the landing and bent the motor shaft. After a new motor and an ounce of weight in the nose I took it out again for this flight. It flew better but since it is my first sailplane it is going to take some getting use to. One reason I put the little camera on was to see if the folding prop was working properly this time. I don't think I had the brake function turned on during the first flight.
I had it up about 20 minutes where a little over 7 minutes was throttle time. After the flight it took me 6 minutes to find the camera that came off in the tall grass when it landed! Next time I may try the RunCam on it to get some higher quality shots.
No background music because I thought it was kind of cool listening to the wind whistle by when the motor was not running. Also ignore the time stamp..
