The Apple M4 iPad Pro is without a doubt a marvel of design, engineering and performance. But when we ignore the marketing hype and overrated reviews, and try to really use this device, the truth starts to reveal itself. Combining the M4 chip, the new OLED display technology and of course the latest iPadOS 18 (Beta 7 right now), in theory should make the iPad Pro a powerhouse of productivity and creativity.

In reality, there are still some limitations and missed opportunities in my view that makes this iPad Pro, a beautiful piece of hardware but still limited by Apple's software, grounded in what I can only think is the fear of cannibalising MacBook sales.
