How to Create EDM Risers | Advanced Features in Padshop 2
EDM risers are a great way to make a song explode. This video looks at how to create EDM risers in the Padshop 2 granular synthesizer VST included in Cubase. Padshop is a great software synthesizer for EDM and the granular oscillator, LFO and pitch can be used to create risers, with parameters like formant, cut off, length and others used to give movement to the sound. Opening the spectral oscillator and adding another layer really helps to add texture to risers created in this flexible VST virtual synth.
