Bass Fishing Lures in Weeds
Bass fishing lures for thick weeds. Lake Wawasee in Northern Indiana is a very popular tournament lake and also has ample weeds. The aquatic vegetation is emergent and submerged, found up shallow, deep, on flats, and channels, and creating opportunities for many fishing lures.
This video was shot during the Angler’s Choice bass tournament during summer in mid August when the weeds are thick and the water is warm. The weather was surprisingly mild on this day with overcast skies and rain in the forecast.
Dave Brown and I caught over 20 keepers with several different lures.
