Is it right time to switch from Mozilla Firefox, as it gets frustrating
For years and years I have believed in Firefox. As a web applications developer, it have been my first love when it comes to browsers. But now it losing market share, not only because other browsers are doing good but also because Firefox is losing its thing, the speed and performance. Somewhere in race of more features, despite many claims of speed, the Firefox browser is proving to be the straight let down these days.
There are very basic things Mozillians can do to improve Firefox are, like chrome they have to load pages with some default/fallback fonts until the main font is loaded. Chrome does that but Firefox stops rendering of Page until the main font is loaded.
Firefox is losing its market share the fastest right now and its high time that they do something about it to get back in the race once again. Or they are going to hit the history pages like the Netscape browser of the very same company, Mozilla.
