When creating a transaction saved search in NetSuite, you have the ability to include the quantity ordered, quantity committed, quantity fulfilled/received, and quantity billed in your criteria and results, but there is no native column available for quantity back ordered. Luckily, you can use a Formula (Numeric) column to calculate the uncommitted and unshipped quantity for each line and use that formula to quickly create a saved search for sales orders that include one or more back-ordered products. In this video, I'll show you how to create a saved search that displays order lines that are currently back-ordered using this formula.
