How to Transition between clips in Premiere Pro CC 2017
To transition between clips you can select a number of presets from the effects tab and drag them between the clips you want to transition.
The default transition in Premiere is a cross dissolve. You can create a quick transition by clicking between 2 clips and pressing Shift D on the keyboard.
You can change the length of the transition by dragging it with the arrow tool.
A cross dissolve will also effect audio. The idea for these tutorials is to help people gain more video and audio editing skills quickly without having to watch a 10-minute video every time they need to learn a new skill.
