Mailchimp Hidden Groups // Automatically Add Subscribers to a Group at Sign Up
In this video, I show you how to add a hidden group to a Mailchimp embed form. I received a question the other day on how to hide a group in a Mailchimp sign up form. The process of hiding the group is relatively easy but it does come with a big caveat. Watch the video to learn what it is.
The Process:
Step 1 - Create a group in Mailchimp (Audience - Manage Contacts - Groups)
Step 2 - Set up your Mailchimp embed form options
Step 3 - Add the embed code to your WordPress website
Step 4 - Edit the embed code - add a style to the group DIV and add checked to the group you subscribers to be automatically added
Step 5 - View the draft in WordPress to test the process
